Considering MATTE White Center Striping on Absolute Black CM

I haven't had much luck finding documentation online of matte white stripes on much of anything, let alone on the particular glimmer of Absolute Black. Has anyone seen this scenario? I can do the gloss but I thought the matte white would be interesting against the black.

Any thoughts?

Go for it.
I think the matte pearl white that 3M has would look better than the flat version.

The matte pearl I'm guessing has more warmth than a bright white then? Good call

In my opinion matte white looks like bright white paper. Looks really nice and clean wrapped on an entire car, haven't seen it used as just stripes. Might look good, but I'd go with the pearlized look, it will fit in with the gloss of the clear coat.

Or if you want a stealth look, matte black looks good over gloss black.

Either way it's your call. Take it to where you're getting the vinyl and ask for a scrap piece for a sample, put it against your paint and decide.
