I understand wheel spacers are permitted up to .25" or about 6mm to get non stock wheels within spec. Can you add these spacers to stock x-lite wheels to move the wheels out? I was thinking of going to studs for efficiency of wheel changes and I am considering adding spacers. I see HR has 5mm available. Will this help or hurt performance?

 

They help but how much is up to debate. I use H&Rs from TC Kline racing and the stud kit from Alex.

The rule is that your wheels can very in offset .25" from stock... so a non stock wheel can be .25" off in offset... or you can run .25" spacers on stock wheels or aftermarket wheels with stock offset....
