Nice Pics!! Quick question. Are the H-sport springs H&R? Where did you get them?? And one more... How much did it lower your MINI? Thanks.

The H sport springs are from HSport (they are a NAM sponsor.) They lowered the car about 3/4 of an inch, I guess. I really like them. Combined with the RDR rear sway bar, the car is very neutral.

MikeinNC, you have an email. Enjoy!

I should also add, me and a couple buddies did the spring installation ourselves. I have spring compressors and tools, and I could be convinced to help out with installs if anyone is interested. Front and back shouldn't take more than about 3 hours, add an hour or two if you do a rear sway bar. I have no experience with the front sway bar.

Nice! I happened to be at that rally as well, but forgot my camera. DOH! Was my first rally. I've only had my MCS since Nov '03. Was a fun event, though I was disappointed at the ending. No speech, no games at the picnic, and so far no info from Flow about number of attendees or anything like that.

That and the Flow employees just leaving at the end, leaving everyone to figure out how to get home.

My wife and I thought it pretty odd as well. They left right after lunch. We were scrambling to get back in the car to follow. I had no clue how to get back. I knew I should of gotten NAV!

Great fun though, they did a good job putting it together. We met some nice people and even saw some old friends from the local Miata club.

Oh and my wife really enjoyed sitting in the $80,000 convertible 645 CI!!!

This was my first rally too. I've had my MCS since the end of January this year.

I do agree that there should have been something at the end, but we got so lost when we lost the first half of the rally heading back. I overheard some people at flow saying that there were approximately 129 cars in the whole rally, but yeah, games or something would have been really cool.

I've got to get my pictures developed from the rally...dropping the film off tonight to get them done! Other than that I thought it was really good and awaiting the next one.

We followed a group of cars that missed the turn on 66S going back. We followed those cars for about 10 minutes before realizing we messed up. We doubled back and passed quite a few other cars that made the same mistake.

When we finally got back to 66S, the road was empty and VERY twisty. We "Made Up" all of the lost time by the time we got back to 52, although I probably used up a disproportionate amount of the rubber on my tires doing it!

We did end back up on 52 as well, after making a turn the rest of the pack we were travelling with did not. We got to 52, but no idea which way. 5 miles later we found we were on 52N and needed south. But instead of turning around (6 miles later for a turnaround spot) we went farther north to catch 77S. At that point we were 9 miles from Virginia.

I went to http://www.flowmini.com and send a feedback to them about the event. Suggest everyone do the same.
