Hi there, My fiancee and I are seriously thinking about moving to Raliegh. WE live up near DC and we really like it down there (at least we think we do) We'd like to live in the neighorhood near peace and hillsbourgh sts. I'd lvoe to do a mini drive with you if we're in the area. Of course first we both have to find jobs and sell our house! How's the downtown life there? I'll also psot this as a PM to ya.

That would be great! I don't know about anyone else, but I think it would be great. I can get up with Bob from Fayetteville too to see if he would be interested in it as well. I would need some help with back roads to travel on as well...since I just got my MINI a couple of months ago, not real familiar with what roads to take!!

Hi Michelle,
I'm always up for a drive with other MINI's.
I just hosted a drive around Jordan Lake on April 3rd. Seven MINI's showed for that drive. We had about a 2 hour drive followed by lunch.
My advice is... if you want to host one, just pick a date and post it. Those who can show up, will.
Personally, this has been a very busy MINI month. with the Jordan Lake loop, Flow Rally, MINI Driving School in SC, and finally the Tail of the Dragon in the Fontana area.
I was going to try to organize something for June, but I need to get through the next few weeks...

Bob from Fayetteville checking in.... as long as I can get coverage at the store, I'm always up for a drive!! As mentioned by Pebblecrusher, advance notice is a must.
Make sure there's nothing else major going on, too. I just got an email this morning from someone in Wilmington who's organized a get together there on May 2nd (Dragon weekend, unfortunately).
