Any local Miami Mini guys?

I would like to see how many Miami members there are to see if we get something going, such as meets, track days, tuning, etc.

 

Guy's I will be doing a custom tune get together the next weekend April 16. I have been able to get a contact with a local tuner and will give us a GREAT price on the tune. This is strictly for locals. Unfortunately I can not extend this offer to other members. The tune time will be about 2 hours per ECU. Please PM me for more details and price on tune. I do have to agree with Porthos though, I'd get PAW or AAW to do the tunes, PAW has a dyno in house, idk about AAW though. Luis at PAW is great, and extremely helpful

 

give me till next week and I will post up some data sheets to show you guys what my tune has resulted. Like others, I was well like to proof to back up what has been claimed; In all justice, I will provide my specs. I am pretty sure the other Miami member that will be joining will also show his specs.

Check out Minis of Miami. They have been around for about 10 years or so. Great group of people.

Just had the tune done and must say it is a night and day difference. We had 2 cars tuned today. A N14 and a N18.

N14 = 221hp/227 tq the only mod on it is an Alta CAI
N18 = 225hp/ 232 tq ALTA CAI, 2.5 exhaust

 

On the N18, the spark plugs had to be changed to the JCW N14 plugs because of an early boost release at around 4k rpm. Other than that, I must say it is a great day to spend your saturday morning. Unfortunately, I was not able to capture any data while the tuner was working on the ECU.

 

Btw sunshineminis is very large and also have a forum. Though Miami has a huge contingent of wild MINI owners. Look into it
