Since I got my '13 MCS I loaded up a thumbdrive with tons of music from my PC, simply copied the directories out of the iTunes folder onto the drive. It all works fine in the car except that double CDs play out of order. Mostly they seem to play track 1, cd 1, track 1 cd 2, track 2 and so on, but a couple of the albums it plays some tracks twice.

Has anyone else seen this, is this a trick to the file naming or directory structure to fix this? I don't want to go back to CDs (and I don't use an Apple device so can't just plug one of those in).

A disadvantage I have discovered with my '10 mini when using the USB for the first time (yesterday) is it seems that when using USB the player will not move from folder to folder automatically. I play the contents of a folder I choose, and then after the last song plays it begins again at the beginning of the list in the folder. To move to another folder I have to navigate the menu and choose a song in another folder.

Conversely, when I use a CD that is organized in folders, the player treats all of the songs as a single playlist, ignoring the folders if you get my meaning.

Re the order you may need to rename your songs, at least that is how it sounds. Good luck.
