I've received a couple of questions about installation of the aluminum grilles. Here is a copy of the instructions that come with them. When a local Mini guy comes in we install the entire set in 15 minutes. Probably would take you 30 minutes the first time. Anyway in the Miami area gets free installation.

Bonnet Grill: - Present the bonnet grill to the inside part of the hood noting the slots cut for the plastic tabs. Once in place, use the supplied zip ties to secure the grill, Place the zip ties behind the painted sections of the hood to conceal them.

Radiator Grill: - Present the aluminum grill over the existing plastic grill. Drill small holes into the solid ends of the existing grill and secure with the supplied zip ties.

Lower Vent Grills: - Remove the lower shroud. Visually locate the plastic vent tube located behind the bumper. Apply silicone to the concave portion of the aluminum grill. Insert the grill behind the bumper with the concave portion facting towards the rear of the car. Attach the grill to the vent tube and allow the silicone to dry. Reassemble.

Intercooler Grill: - Looking at the underside of the hood, remove the four bolts used to secure the plastic housing. Present the aluminum grill to the front opening in the housing and bend the aluminum, towards the back, over the top part of the plastic housing. Reassemble.

Fresh Air Vent Grills - Use a flat piece of plastic (i.e. Credit Card) to depress the three front retaining clips on the bottom of the existing plastic grill. There is one in the middle, and the other two are at each end. Once this is done you can pull the plastic grill up and out to remove it. Once removed, you need to seperate the two pieces of plastic holding the foam insert. Pressing the retaining clips located on the underside of the plastic grill does this. After the two pieces have been seperated, remove the foam insert and replace it with the aluminum grill. Reassemble.
