2004 Motor Mount Bracket

Hi all,
My passenger side upper motor mount bracket was broken
in a crash. The large cast aluminium one for the oil filled mount.
Does anyone know what other year brackets will fit ? I can get
a mount and bracket from a 2005 but it looks different.
Here is a pic I found on the net which is the same as the one I broke.
thanks for any replies.

Ok, looks like mine is a little different than the one on the yellow car.
Here is a pic of my broken bracket. This car is a 2004

I recently broke one of these brackets trying to remove the ground cable with a ratchet. It's like they become more fragile as they age. I mean, sure, that's everything in this universe, but it still blows my mind I was able to break off metal like that with my scrawny arms.

One in the first post is part number 22111514490; the one in the second post is a newer design, part number 22116763252.

Google those numbers and see what you find. Should cost around $100 for a replacement.

Hey thanks for the quick replies ! Yes aluminium casting is done cheaply
in countries with no environmental or worker health beuracracy so I guess
manufacturing quality control is also non-existant. I have had aluminium
cast parts umble in a cloud of dust for no reason as well. Also they don't bother
to design any form of strengthening into the part knowing it will be subjected
to dissimilar metal corrosion by the fasteners. Good job bmw !
