R50 and R53 crankshaft the same?

Hey does anybody know of the justa Cooper crankshaft is the same as the Cooper crankshaft? I know the R53s have forged rods, but the crank change too? I'm having trouble finding an answer. I'm thinking they're the same because the price on RealOEM is the same for both part, but I can't be sure.

NO they are totally different. We can get you a brand new crank if you need.
