door panel black interior trim discoloration

So last night some leftover Indian food dripped onto my passenger door panel and dried overnight. The curry powder left a light yellow discoloration stain on the bottom of the door interior.

I've tried Prima Niro and Back to Black and a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and none fixed it. Anyone have any ideas or am I screwed? It's not very noticeable but would love to fix it if possible.

Tips appreciated!

You might want to give WD40 a try with a tooth brush.
WD40 is basically a light solvant and has been effective (for me) with removing residue and will evenually evaporate.
Test a small area 1st to see if it provides your desired results.
Good luck.

I have kitchen utensils and containers permanently stained with curry.
Not sure about this application but have you tried an Oxy product? Dilute OxyClean has worked wonders for me on many organic stains.

How about trying 1z Einszett Plastic Deep cleaner?

It probably has the best chance of getting it out without discoloring the plastic.

One of the experienced detailers can probably chime in and let you know if there is an APC that can diluted enough to work and be safe. My guess is still with the plastic deep cleaner though.

Prima nero is just a dressing so it really won't clean. Back to black does have alcohol in it, but still isn't really a cleaner.

I had some stains and scratches on the plastic backs of the front seats that appeared impossible to fix. So I went down to the local shoe repair shop looking for a leather dye or polish that would match. Found a very close match, applied it to the afflicted areas, let it dry completely, buffed it lightly with a soft cloth and voila. Now it's not perfect but it is barely noticeable if you crawl in through the boot to view the area from less than a foot away.

Thanks guys. Ill give these suggestions a shot when I get back from my trip and report back if I have any success. It's not the end of the world if I can't fix it as its very light and at the bottom of the door, but I would help , my OCD mind rest better at night if I knew it wasn't there anymore

Did you ever find a solution to your problem? I am having a similar issue on a small area of my dash. Not curry but still discolored.
