If they did not ever go flat, then you would not be able to appreciate their runflat abilities

I can just imagine that the steel belts in the tires are actually very strong magnets!

Sorry to hear this!

Kenchan, I hope you got the construction company to pay for the damages. . .

Stop using those MINI run-flats and get yourself a set of the PPG run-flats.

I had two flats in one day just a few weeks ago, but in outr Blazer (other vehicle). I have never had trouble with the MCS run flats in 23 months (38k miles).

I think it's just a case of bad luck!

I don't think rubber can be a magnet.

Can you show me the nail-attraction graphs for your run-flats and for non run-flats to compare?

I remember from a statistics class that natural, counting events such as how many cars go by a point in a given slice of time, or how many flats you get in a given slice of time have a Poisson distribution, which has a sort of "clumping" effect. In other words, although it seems as if the gods are punishing you, it's completely normal for random events like this to come in bunches.

So yeah, it really is just bad luck! I don't know if that makes you feel better or not, but maybe it would make for interesting party conversation...if you could find the right party. I'm still looking for that one.

Mine are not after one year.

Take them off the rim and check for magnets the factory may have randomly put in for laughs.

I kept my run flats for 2000 miles then got some Yokohama's. I think I lost at least one filling out of a tooth while riding on those hard runflats. The Yoko's are firm but still drives well, plus they are good in the wet also. And another plus, they are affordable
