It's getting crowded im my neighborhood, in the past two days I've encountered 1 PS/B cooper. 1 IB/W cooper and today a BRG/B Cooper S, this town is not big enough for all of us.

At least 2.....I pass CharlesVillager's liquid yellow/black Cooper alot on my way home from work and then there is a Chili Red/white S in my neighborhood that I see often on the highway during my morning commute.
Sometimes I see more.....

It's odd... I have seen very few in SLC area. In the past 3 months have only seen 1 chili red MC, 1 chili red MCS, 1 yellow MCS, 1 black MC, and 1 dark grey MCS. That's it!! I think people are taking most the local dealership sold MINIs out of state!

I'm lucky to catch a glimpse of a Cooper about once a week here in Portland OR. Yes, Coopers. Have yet to see another S on the road.

You must be lucky to have a happy MINI town. I never see a live MINI unless I go to a MINI meet. I put in thousands of miles driving around San Diego without seeing a MINI. Do San Diego MINI owners keep thier MINI garaged?

here in Orange County, CA, I'm lucky if I see 1 a week. Out in Riverside county I have never seen any. I do know that here in OC there is a DS MCS, a LY and IB MC, but that is all that I have seen.

......not counting the stalker-like drive-by's my dealer

I see about 1-2 a day. And we drivers still go nuts when we approach in traffic.

I see 1 Y/B MCS fairly regularly, but other than that, the only other MINIs that I see are at the dealer, about a 1/4 mile from where I work.

During the last 5 months, I've had only 4 sightings of any type of MINI here on the North side of Phoenix, AZ.

I know there is a BRG/W Cooper in the area. I have only seen it twice in the last 2 months. A customer of mine ( i work at starbucks) has a EB/W MCS but I've only seen it once. I was in the Los Feliz area of L.A. last Sat and I saw two coopers in abouit an hour but that makes sense since that is a very trendy area. Where I live though, in the Pasadena area, I usually don't see any.

In 4 months of ownership, I've only seen 8 other MINIs around Pittsburgh - unless I'm at a meet.

I know it is a pipe dream - if not downright illogical - but part of me hopes it stays that way!

I'm only seeing about 1 to 2 per week in the north end of Palm Beach County FL. I always send out a honk for a greeting, they usually honk back.

In just about 2 months of ownership I've seen a total of 2 other MINIs. Works out to .25 MINIs per week.

I've had my MINI for about a month and a half and I've seen two. It's probably because the nearest dealer is 400 miles away from Albuquerque.

In Brooklyn, NY, there are only three mini's that I have EVER seen. There was an old one parked in my neighborhood last weekend, that was pretty exciting! Then there's a faculty member at my school who drives a Black/white MC on tuesdays only(go figure?) and a BRG/white that is usually parked outside the freshman(!) dorm, which I almost always go out of my way to check out.
My boyfriend's boss is big into bmw's so I guess they talk sometimes about how I'm getting a mini. He seems to think they won't catch on, because they aren't as trendy as say VW's are. I don't think I really get that logic, but I kinda hope it's true. There's something unmistakably cool about knowing your car is rare.

I totally agree with you. I kind of like the exclusivity of owning my Mini S. Was it like this when the new Beetle was released? You see them EVERYWHERE now. I hope the Mini doesn't go the way of the Beetle.

I agree, I don't want to see every other car being a MINI a couple of years down the road. But the way I look at it, the less SUV's i see the better. The make parking HELL!!!!!!!

The apartment complex I just moved from here in Atlanta had a liquid yellow/white Cooper, and I have only seen one or two others on the road.

I've seen five here in a city of about 400,000.

I just got back from a vacation in Germany and France and I was a little surprised that I didn't see more there. Smart Cars were all over the place, but I probably only saw about a dozen MINIs. I think I actually saw more original Minis than new ones.

Let's see. In my town (New Providence, NJ) there is a yellow/black top Cooper and a Red/White top S. There is a DS/white just like mine that works occasionally at an office a few blocks away from me. But that S is only there once or twice a week. And in the town next to me, I'm pretty sure there is a yellow/white Cooper. I'm sure there's more there but in my town, which is pretty small, I'm sure it's just the 3 of us so far. I usually see 1 or 2 a day now. Today I saw 3.

I see one a day, mine. The nearest dealer is 300 miles away. I've got a feeling by the number of people who talk to me; I won't be alone for long.

A bunch in a week. I know of at least 5 MINIs (including mine) at my work. Driving around LA you run into quite a few. I think I saw 5 or 6 last weekend alone.

I think a lot of other states' alotments are ending up in LA.

I work in Orange County too, and I don't think I've seen one MINI around the area or during my commute. In Los Angeles county where I live however, I think I've seen about four MINIs consistently. The usual suspects are a dark silver, brg, jet black, and a yellow one. I pick mine up on December
