Here is my new (to me) 04 R53


I am not a fan of the bonnet graphic above the scoop so that will be removed at some point. I am thinking of wrapping the scoop in the same 3M 1080 Carbon as well as the headlight surrounds or lids as I have seen them called and the roof.

It's either the above or remove it all and start over. If I do that I will wrap scoop, headlight rings in matte black, all chrome in matte black, roof in Matte black and probably do the side mirror covers in matte black or something whacky like lime green or red.

For the side I am thinking of one of the few cooper S rocker decals I have seen, I am kind of partial to the one in Porsche font. Possibly toss some hash stripes on one of the front fenders too.

Much of this I think I could wrap myself or buy the decals and apply myself. Just looking for others thoughts, thanks for looking!

Thanks, I will try and snap another pic. I think I found the direction to go in. Just not feeling the carbon vinyl, seems ricey to me.

 

If you plan to keep those wheels with red stripe, might try to get alittle red somewhere else on the car to help tie that in..

 

i think that all the decals need to come off.... the head light rings are a good idea i plan on doing something too im just sure what yet.

I just got an 06MC and love it. I do a lot of photoshop. I am still playing but this is what I like. The wife is not to keen on it. I drive it tho.

I decided I am losing all the graphics and doing the headlight rings, door handles, mirror caps and scoop in black, yellow tinting the headlights, tinting the tails . Jury is still out on the roof will either be all black or a large dark pattern just to mix it up.
