Are the OEM R56 and R53 springs the same?

Just wondering because if so i was going to buy a set of oem R53 spring's to have in case i have to put my car back to stock height for any reason.

No, they're different and won't fit.

They will fit if you swap out the spring buckets so unless you have a complete set of both r56 and r53 shocks its not worth it.
