R56 ENKEI M52 Performance Series Wheels? (new for 2013)
I have the Enkei Performance Ammodo 17x7.5 for my winter wheels right now and love them. They look similar to these but with seven pairs of spokes instead of five. I like these as well, maybe I should sell the Challenge Spokes and get these for summer tyres!
I thought about these wheels as well. If these wheels didn't weight as much as they did I would have bought them already. I'm sure if they were in the 15lbs range they wouldn't be 150 a piece but rather 250-300 a piece.
Pros:can get in 17x7.5 which is rare for a 4 lug bolt pattern in a quality wheel to be wider than 7 inches. heavier 1 piece wheels are usually stronger than lighter 1 piece wheels. comes with centercaps stock.
Cons:the 17 inch wheel damn near weighs 21 pounds.
I'm getting the black rpf1's myself and tossing 20 pounds off the stock wheels alone

My Enkei Ammodos are 42mm offset 17x7.5 as well. There are some pictures here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...756-post7.html and on the rest of that thread.
I see 'scottyblue' recently installed these wheels:

These wheels work out great! The +42 offset is ideal in my opinion for a 17x7.5 wheel. I would not call these an aggressive offset at all. Maaaybe 5-6 mm further out than stock. The weight is right around 20 lbs, as well. The 205/45 tires work, but if I were to do it over again, I'd probably go for 215/45's solely because the wheel design exposes the spokes a bit.
I'll post some pics once I can get them clean (snow and salt here is horrendous right now). The look is perfect, though, and the price is ideal.
Unless you're tracking or auto x'ing, those RPF1's are a waste for 5 lbs per wheel at twice the price.
Plus, I can enjoy a commute knowing that I can afford to replace a $150 wheel if anything goes awry AND I get free centercaps!
Been there, done that, with light MAT Enkei wheels. I had a coveted set of RC-T4's on an old Subaru before I got into MINIs and I can't take the stress of putting gorgeous, expensive wheels to regular use.

Thanks for posting the picture scottyblue. I'm looking at the same wheel right now for my pepper white MCS. Will the OEM mini center caps fit, or do you have to use the center caps that come with these wheels? As you can tell, I'm new to this process.
I really like Enkie wheels Have had two sets on my Miata's.
Has anyone weighed them yet. Lighter the better for me...
Matte black or Gunmetal with some de-chroming should look great on my Pepper White Roadster S...
Maybe a set of Falken RT-615k's 215x45x17 or 225's if they fit?
