Is anyone else having a problem with getting online with the factory video tour. I ordered mine on Dec. 19 2012, got a production number on Jan 9, 2013 with the VIN about a week later. When I try and see the online factory tour video, I get a 404 re-direct to the MiniUsa page. My resolution and pop-ups is not the problem.

Frustrated first time Mini "hopefully to be" owner.

Got the same thing the whole way through Nov and Dec while we were waiting for our car. Wonder if MINI knows? Wonder if they care to take the time to put it back up again. I don't get it. They created what "could" be an amazing place for updates in the Owner Lounge but the fact is you will not rely on any of the info there. Once you have a Vin and it has been released to the Shipping company, tracking it with K-line or Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics will be your best bet. Prior to that depend on your dealer. Dealers seem to get good updates but I just couldn't bother them everyday as I was looking for an update. Once a week maybe but... Still others on here indicate many many conversations with the dealer. For the best tracking info look for the thread pertainign to tracking your MINI. I beleive it is a sticky in the FAQ area.

 

Found out thru this incredible forum about Ask Mini and from there that mine is in route to the docks now. I gave up on the OL and went and found an older tour on YouTube. Even that was very impressive!

 

Considering that most of the photos in the OL are 7 or more years old, it's pretty clear that the OL hasn't received any real attention in a VERY long time.
