Kinda thinking of putting MCS turn signal repeater vents on my MC...has anybody else done this, or does it violate some unwritten law of ownership that an MC shall not impersonate an MCS?

It's generally rather tacky to badge a car something that its not. Like putting an "M" badge on a non-Motorsport BMW. There are several aftermarket versions of that piece out there if you're looking to make a change.

I agree with early_apex. Go for a white lens or an aftermarket vent, but do avoid giving the appearance of impersonating a higher performance model. I've been considering doing just the opposite - removing the S and Works badges and using MC turn signals.
