Radio & /CD player quit working - 2008 MC

I bought a used 2008 Mini Cooper three years ago. Last year a message came up on the display that said 'high temperature' then the radio and CD player quit working. I had the fuses checked. What else might this be (I know nothing about cars)? Thank you.

I suspect you're in the wrong forum, unless you have a convertible.

I mean, I do hope he / she figured it out, because not having a radio sucks. But I would assume that the 2nd gen forum would be a better place to get a good answer, instead of the 1st gen one.
