Radio Question
Forgive me for asking something I'm sure has been asked before. Just not sure where to look.
I just bought a 2013 Clubman S with basic radio.
Only mod I want to make is to swap out for better speakers. I also saw a post about a front/rear channel swap but have no idea what that means!
I was thinking of just buying high quality speakers, and having a local pro put them in. What size speakers do I need, and what's the story on front/read swap. Thank you

Not trying to argue here - but this is like some really deep thought out theological argument that may not have a one true answer. There are other posts here where they say not to do the swap because of the way human ears hear music. Their arguments are just as compelling. The summary is the rear are for fill only and you are mostly hearing from the front and to hear the most of it in the rear is not as good.
I did the swap and six months later swapped them back.
The math said swapping would sound better but the ears did not hear it like that.
The best thing you can do is spend $250 on six new speakers. I did that (before I put in the DVD player) and it brought the sound alive.
