hey guys. i'm a newbie here. own an 03 mini s and recently purchased am 06 mini convertible for my girlfriend. the issue is occasionally the brake lights stay on after shutting off the car and pulling the key. not always. i'm thinking BCM1 problems..any ideas. only have the car two weeks so i'm still going thru it. thanks in advance for any possible help.

thanks for the reply .yeah , first thing i checked, even disconnected it lights didnt go out. if i take the key out and flick on the hi beam, put the key back in, turn it on and off, they go out. not sure if its a timer relay, bcm1 or some other bs. i am a mechanic and fabricator, just not familiar with the wiring on these mini's . time to get a manual and dig deper..thanks again.
