R50/53 Better Brake Lights

It is easy to increase your brake light effectiveness in about 5 minutes..
After reading on the MINI2 sight..I tried it and it works...
a jumper wire about 2 inches long which connects the #1 and #4 terminals
will also light the upper section of the tail light ...
has anyone tried this?
looks great and seems safer,too
