I did mine originally, before I went to just paint, the plasti dip held up better to chips than my first paint job, if you do paint you really have to prep really good to get the adheasion you need to gaurd against chips, the plasti dip has good adheasion without sanding & the rubber qualities of it really helps in this area.
I'm so glad I took the plunge on my Pure Silver also.
Has anyone ever plasti dipped their brake calipers? The calipers on my ride are looking tired and beat. I was thinking of doing something to dress them up.

I suspect the calipers get a little too hot for plasti-dip.
Caliper paint is cheap and readily available. You can get it at most automotive/hardware stores, I think OutMotoring carries it too.
Plasti dip job you did is awesome!! It looks really good!
My son loves this stuff because he's able to do his wheels different colors fairly cheaply. His wheels have been a nice deep red and before that a shocking fluorescent green! They look great with his silver car.
