Remote start

Anyone aware if a remote start for a 2002 Mini Cooper S? Then vendors where I live say it doesn't exist.

lots of forums on this. not much info tho. it "exists", but not as a plug and play module. i think one guy successfully made it happen, but hasnt done much in the way of posting HOW he did so.

There is no remote start available as it is a 6spd manual.

They are not made for manual transmissions. Yes they work on them but just think when the person leaves the car in gear and attempts to do this.

Viper's last few editions have the capability to support a manual tranny. You basically add one more sensor or tap a neutral tire, depends on the install. Does the same thing as the hood plunger to keep it from starting with the hood up. I know when I had a 7902 It had the option.

Yo'll need to disable the EWS by taping a chip from a key nearby.

It doesn't matter if the key is in the ignition just as long as the chip is in the car is this with any of them or just viper brand
