License Plate LED Bulb ?

I recently purchased a set of LED license plate bulbs that were presumably the correct style for my 2012 Cooper S Clubman. Much to my surprise, when I pulled out the oem bulb it was completely different from that which was sent me. Even the Osram guide calls for a festoon style C5W . This is what the bulb looks like. Can anyone identify it ?

For anyone who might be interested, I picked up a set of T10 error free LED license plate bulbs for cheap on eBay. So far so good, with no error indication - and they look great. Hopefully they will last for awhile .

Not the best of photos, but I'm pleased with the updated look the LED's gave my vehicle. They give off a nice clean white light, that in my opinion isn't the slightest bit "bobo".

This photo might give a better idea of how they look.

I bought mine from iJDMTOY. So far I love them. Quick swap, inexpensive and a great look.

The xenon white led's give off a bright white light with a slightly blue tint. I really like...it's not over the top or cheap looking.

Nice bulbs. But, I found out the hard way that the Clubman takes a T10 wedge bulb, not the festoon style that every supplier thinks it does.
