Noise maker

Does eliminating the noise maker actually make and notable difference? Stock or heavily modded...

It affects throttle response as you're removing "intake manifold" volume from the system.
The pressure differential is faster when the throttle is cracked open.
Also removing it reduces the locations of possible leaks in the future.

I did not notice anything when I deleted mine. I just like the fact that the engine bay is a little cleaner with it gone.

I just remember reading that apparently it robs like .5-1 psi
