Alpine Audio Upgrade Question.

My friend has an 07 hardtop. She had the alpine speaker upgrade installed. Even though the fader on the audio system is set in the middle, most of the sound appears to be originating from the rear speakers. is there an adjustment on the actual amplifier that may be maladjusted?

Thank You.

The net effective sensitivity to input voltage is lower for the Alpine amp+speakers than it is for the standard OEM speakers. Unless there is little total output from the fronts (which would indicate a problem) you will need to adjust the fader on the HU to achieve system balance - there is no separate gain on the Alpine amp the way that there is with our system.

+1; I have the alpine upgrade to the base system, and my fader is set to +2 fwd for what will feel to the driver to be balanced now.
