Cargo Box suggestions

I have the base support system for my CMS and I am looking for a cargo box that can fit on them. Can Thule and Yakima boxes fit?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a box? I would like to be able to transport three golf bags (a minimum of two) when family visit.

I have never used a cargo box so any comments are helpful

Thanks

i picked up a rhinorack rmfz65 and i like it, fits on oem mini bars no problem. it opens from both sides and is virtually silent on top.

dpike,

I can't really tell from your picture, does it clear the factory antenna? It looks like it does.

Yeah, I have the stubby on it and the box ends about 3" short of it. The boot also opens without any issues.

dpd2012 - There are lots of fantastic boxes out there. If hauling golf bags in one is a requirement however, then you'll have trouble with the super-flat, aerodynamic ones.

I have the MINI-branded box (see below), and think it is a good compromise of length, width, and height. I have carried golf bags in this box easily.

Hi all -

Does anyone know/have experience with putting a cargo box and two bikes on the roof on the standard MINI rails?

If so, what's your setup?

Thanks!

Dan

Yep, you guys found it...

MINI Roof Box
Rockymounts Euro Pitchforks on either side

Still some wiggle room on either side to adjust the spacing between the box and the bike trays. The way I have it, the inboard crank needs to be oriented so that the pedal is above the box. The crank cannot make a full rotation...

I have been scouring the internees for the dimensions of the MINI box, and I believe it to be 24 inches wide. Does that smell right to you?
