Justa

I didn't get any response on the Clubman section, anyone here have insight?

Been shopping for awhile, a 2011 justa Clubman became available.
Auto, 32k miles.
Any particular issues with these? Recalls, etc...

Had an S hatch and am also concerned about power difference.

Thank You

Don't know about any issues but I have seen threads and also articles that point to a turn down in sales for the Clubbie. It seems the Countryman has maybe taken a bite out of the sales of Clubmans. They seem to be sitting on the lot longer based on this information.

Translation, they aren't bringing book value. You make your profit on the purchase. You realize it on the sale.

Good Luck

Wher are you located...I just traded my 2010 Justa Clubman with 13,500 for a new Hardtop in Richmond VA......I found it not to be as 'snappy" as our 2003 Hardtop....good to be back in a 2013 Hardtop........

Going from a MCS to a Justa may be a difficult transition. You may feel underwhelmed because you will know what you are missing in terms of power/responsiveness/engine sound. The heavier Clubman/automatic combination makes the difference even more pronounced.

I say this with all due respect to the Justa -- we had a '07 with 6-speed and we really liked it. But after now owning a 2012 S I could never go back. Just saying....

The Justa is a more reliable vehicle (the recall issues have all revolved around the N14 engine, IIRC... turbo is a hard mistress). I've never driven a Clubbie Justa Automatic, but I have driven a Justa hardtop auto for a week, and really liked it. The Clubman does weigh a couple of hundred pounds more, which could be more noticeable in the Justa than the S.

We own a Justa and a JCW (both 6 speed), even more power difference. While the extra power in the JCW is fun in its own way, the Justa can be more fun to drive. If we had only one, it'd probably be the Justa.

Best bet may just be to get yourself to a mini dealer and test drive a HT and clubber see how they feel. Been meaning to do the same myself. I love my justa HT, but would like the little bit of extra room in the clubbie
