For sale are a set of coil-overs that originated in Europe for the Mini Challenge Racing Series. They were never available in the United States and can no longer be purchased.

They're very close in construction to the KW Variant 3s but with some obvious differences. They're valved for pure race duty.

I acquired these from working on a race team a few years ago. They have never been installed on any car.

Furthermore, they do not come with spring perches. However, these are easily purchased from KW USA. They have a universal width shock body and spring combo.

You might also notice that they come with a few sets of springs. You can customize your own setup depending on the handling you desire.

Again, what is show is what you get. You will likely have to use your own pillow-ball mounts.

Yeah, even with the softest spring package they would be a little rough for a DD. But you'd have a smile on your face every time you made a turn lol.

will these fit on R56?

 

I'm sorry, but I don't know the answer to that. I don't own a Mini of any kind. I just used to work for a race team and acquired these from them.

I was told that these were for the R53 Mini Cooper S. I don't know if there's any difference in the suspensions between the R53 and R56. They're both "Mk IIs" right? So, possibly?

Does anyone else know?
