R56 Help with aftermarket wheels
Help with aftermarket wheels
Hi guys,
After reading through a few posts I was getting some mixed reviews on what wheels I can fit on my mini. I have a new 2013 with the standard 15s. Im debating using these in the winter since the tires are narrow (175) and getting summer wheels or getting a set of snows wheels. Either way I plan on getting new rims.
I know 4x100 is the bolt pattern. Can anyone tell me the hub size? I have seen a few wheels that came of R52/R53 mini's and wanted to make sure they fit before I tried to purchase them.
Also, I know aftermarket civic rims are also similar sizes, 4x100, can these be used on the mini?
Thanks
Ryan

15's are the hot ticket for the winter. Plenty of sidewall and skinny enough to chop down to the pavement below.
Wheel bolt circle is 4 x 100mm and hub size is 56.1mm on the MINI.

Thanks Shane. I was thinking the same thing. I think I am going to pick up some aftermarket wheels for the summer and run either 16/17in wheels.
Any idea where I can find the stock wheel weight? Don't want to add too much weight to the vehicle, if anything I would like to lower it.

Here's a link to a chart that has cross references of different car manufacturers and wheel sizing

hey guys,
so Im looking at a set on Montegi wheels. Specifically the racing SP10. They are coming off of a 2003 Mini S. I am assuming these will work as long as I buy the larger mounting bolts?
