Has anyone ever used this? R5/EMX PEAKE RESEARCH ENGINE SCAN RESET TOOL. I'm curious as to if it actually works and wanted to make sure that it's not a worthless buy. I plan on buying it in the foreseeable future for those just-in-case moments when my service lights come on.

I've had one for years. EZ to use. It reads the error codes, resets the oil service and inspection flags. It will clear a code but the code will continue to return until the cause has been corrected.

 

Wow, I always thought these kind of things started at over $350 -but this looks inexpensive.

This will show the actual mini codes, not the generic OBD-II codes, right?
