I custom made a "one arm" mount for my boost gauge with a hacksaw, files, and a drill (my garage floor looks like a Taleban gun shop LOL). They're aren't any affordable mounts made for the Nav system yet and I don't see the need for two gauges around the pod. The right one on a Nav system would block the ventilation so my oil pressure/water temp would go down low like Andy's set up.

Thanks everyone for your help

I'm curious...how much boost are you guys getting with a 15% pully?

ryan got about 19 1/2 lbs of boost on the dyno, almost 20. i have the video to prove it. but i would expect at least 18 lbs at least. that was top of 4th gear.

I also custom built a bracket to mount the gages using Autometer gages and pods. Here are some pics.

I trimmed the pod to fit tighter to the dash.

This shows the bracket design. I made it in steel (can't weld aluminum)

The stock sender is the green connector to the right.

Thanks to all the help in figuring out the wiring and vacuum hookups.
Dan

Looks good! I see about 15 psi at redline with the 15% pulley.

Helix now carries a THREE gauge pod for the NAV. Me personally, I wish I had a third gauge (oil temp).

No. I think they are mentioned on his "news" page. I'd call him if you want more info.

this is with a 15% pulley??????? This makes me curious. What Gauge was he running? I have learned the hard way that some of the gauges out there are off.

Yeah there's no way a 15% is making more than 15lbs of boost - MAX. Maybe a tad more with the stock exhaust but 15 is probably the limit. I get 16 so far in hot weather and I've seen 16 1/2lbs once on a less humid day with my 19%. But I don't bring it to redline often any more.

I have NAV, and I took the easy route (due mostly to injury) and ordered the PROMINI gauge set and installed it prior to the Dragon Run. With a stock pulley I get just a bit over 10psi. 15% coming soon. I have plans for a homebrew 3 gauge cluster to go under the toggles. In there will go oil temp, water temp and volts.

Another thing you could do (I did this to install a third gauge aside from the 2 on the side of the tach) is use the existing ring bracket that holds the cup holder on the center console pillar (Or, I guess you could get another one if you want to keep the cup holder.) I took an autometer gauge pod and attached it to the side of the ring with a couple screws/nuts. Then fit the ring back around the pillar and tighten. Works great and looks nice too.
