Radio stopped working suddently???

I just went to the movies and was listening to my radio like i always do. we got back in the car after the movies and the radio will not come on. you can see the clock, but, none of the buttons will turn the radio on.

anyone with this issue? can it be fixed easily without going to the dealer.

2012 Countryman S with 2500 miles.

Yes, I had this same issue the night I picked up my new 2012 Countryman All4. The radio would not turn on and the clock was stuck at the time when the radio stopped working. A couple of hours later radio still not working even after shutting ignition off and restarting. Clock was still stuck at same time. Went to bed and the next morning radio came back on and clock was now displaying accurate time. Don't know what happened but it has not occured again. I did mention to SA, but since it fixed itself, nothing to be done.

MiniLotus, thank you for the response.
mine did exactly what you said. it started working once the car sat on the driveway all night. it has not done it again.

of course, Mini said there was nothing they can do until i can replicate the issue while at the dealership. i am having a hard time believing this is not happening to more people.

i will let you know if it happens again.
