Hitch Wiring 4 Flat

Anybody know the best way to wire a 4 flat hitch connector to the Countryman? Route from the module to the battery? Thru the interior or under/exposed? Flopping out the bottom or sticking out the boot seal? Can't find anything with the Search. Thanks Jim

I ran the power lead from the relay box through a small gap under the hood leading into the driver's door area, and from there under the weatherstripping. It shows again between the front and back doors and then goes along the edge to the trailer box in the driver's side area in the back where you can pick up the left turn signal and brake signal. That's where I put the box. My dealer said I could have run it under the carpet all the way to the back.
