Floor Liner vs. All Season Floor Mat

Hi Everyone,

I picked up my MINI Countryman last night and I want to get some good floor mats or liners before the snow comes. I tried searching but I didn't see any comparisons of the more expensive liners vs. the mats.

Floor liners for the front are $84

Floor mats are only $56.

Thanks!

Mine came with the liners. If it hadn't, I would have bought the WeatherTech ones. I have those in other vehicles and they are great. Price wise, I think they run about $100 for the front and rear package set if you shop around. Here is the link to the WeatherTech Site. http://www.weathertech.com/mini/2012...er-digitalfit/

Good Luck

I got the all seasons for my front seats and rubber mats for the rear seats. I expect that the all season ones are better at capturing snow/melt than the relatively flat rubber mats. As infrequently as I have adult rear seat passengers in inclement weather, I couldn't bring myself to spend the extra money on the rear seats.

The all season mats are relatively rigid plastic as opposed to the much more pliable rubber mats. They have a much deeper "dish" when compared to their rubber counterparts. One thing I did notice is that the all seasons don't have the traction of the rubber mats and can be a bit noisy if something is rolling around on them.

All in all, I'm pleased with my choice of mixing mat types between front and rear.

Did you use the "liners" in the front and the all season mats in the rear?

I just bought front weathertech trays for my 2013 mini justa. This will be my first winter in ten years I have not just used the carpeted mats. I get mixed as the rubber mats trap moisture under them and get musty. With carpet everything soaks in, but does dry after several nice days.

Where did you find them for $84? The website says $99 for a front pair.

They were either sold or use the dynamic pricing because the cheapest on amazon now is $101.20!

At that price I'll take the all season mats for $63.
