Homelink Mirror Swap

1. Can someone confirm that the move from the auto-dim mirror to the auto-dim mirror w/ homelink is just plug and play and that this will not mess with my keyless entry or other devices.

2. Is there a trick to getting the surrounds from the mirror stalk off or am I just being too cautious?

3. Once the surrounds are off am I correct in understanding that I just turn the stalk 90* and apply a little pressure for it to pop off?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Start by turning 90 degrees--it will require more force than seems reasonable. Then, after the mirror pops off, you can release the clips which hold the surrounds together.

But good luck on #1--I have no clue there!
