07 justa shakes at idle

This is taken right after oil change, before oil change it was more rough. the symptom is that when i step on the brake on red light and fully stopped the car, the whole car body shakes wid rpm going down to 500. I went to ask dealership yesterday without appointment. they suspect that it might be throttle problem but not sure about it. please help me out guys.

Might be the mounts but, it could also be a bunch of other things too.

i just visited local mini specialist for asking my problem. He said it might be that i didnt use premium gas. Of course, i didnt use premium since i moved to california from new jersey because the gas price in cali is too high..,anyway the question is.. does it really make difference? does it really relate to idle?

shakes at idle

Yes if the manual says premium, then use it. There must be a reason, as I believe yor engine Has High Compression. Also would throw a can of Seafoam in gas tank to help clean internals. Shoul run better after new at least 91 octane.

Do you have any mods? I had NM Engineering Engine Torque Arm Mount Insert and it would intermittently cause a vibration at idle. I removed it and the idle vibration has not come back (5k miles since removal).

A rough idle could be caused by bad/fouled spark plugs. I believe the change interval for plugs is 100k miles on the justa, but 70k is a lot of miles and its possible they are done now, especially if lower octane fuel has been used. Might be worth changing them out as they will be due soon anyway. Good luck!
