Leatherette cleaning and conditioning

Hi All,
I was just wondering what you guys with leatherette use to clean your seats? I tried using just a wet cloth, and a sponge but they didn't work too well. Nothing major, just some dog drool, but after wiping the seats, they still looked dirty. Also, do you use anything to condition the leatherette? I want to keep it looking new and prevent it from drying out/cracking etc. in the future. Thanks!

If you are getting them dirty, warm and slightly soapy water to clean them. Protect them with Aerospace 303 applied with a soft cloth.

Agreed. 303 Protectant is the BEST stuff to use on all interior and exterior plastics and rubber. I use it on the dashboards, doors, etc of all my cars, including the vinyl tops of my S2000 and GTO. It actually does remove some dirt, too.

303 is solid.

I use Optimum All-Purpose Cleaner (diluted)
and CarPro PERL Coat on my interior.

People also seem to like Ultima Interior Guard Plus for interior surfaces including seats (leather or faux).

Posting so I can get the updates. Really need to get my leatherette and interior treated before too much longer.

I've used Prima Nero as well as Prima Nourish on them. Gives a nice matte finish.

Nero is good but Nourish is for real leather... it won't penetrate the fake stuff so it's kind of wasteful of a pretty expensive product, IMO.

Yeah, I know it doesn't penetrate the fake stuff but it gives it a nice finish. Plus OctaneGuy used it on my interior when I got it detailed from him and liked the finish. I use Leather Masters for the real leather.

I use CG InnerClean to clean them, and some VRP. Dressing lightly applied and rubbed dry.
