Black/ Red JCW bonnet stripes...where??

I want to get bonnet stripes for my MCS and I'm going to accent with black and red (on Dark Silver) and I think the black/red JCW stripes would look awesome, but I can't find em anywhere. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places...can someone point me to the right place?

Have you tried a dealership? They should be able to order them for you and probably install them.

A vinyl graphics shop around you could probably recreate them for less than a dealership would charge tho.

I have considered both...I'd rather have an OEM part. I tried realoem.com, but didnt see it. Would R56 stripes fit R53? I could trim if needed and install myself...I've wrapped a whole car before so it doesn't scare me. Also installed dual stripes on a Miata yeeeeears ago.

It looks like it may be P/N 51147276281 and 51147276282. From HERE.

They're called "JCW Black" so it kinda makes sense.

Either way, a dealer should be able to tell you for sure and order them for you. Some might even ship them to you if you're too far away to drive.

Also, I have no idea if R56 stripes would fit an R53 with modification so the only option may be a custom deal from a local shop.

"JCW black" doesn't mean red stripes...a chili red JCW has black stripes with white accent. My local dealer may have a black JCW on the lot, I'll just use it's vin...

I see my part numbers were correct then Where did you end up getting them from?

How well are they fitting on your R53?

Bought em at Mini of Baltimore. I just got home to my car, they're about an inch too long which is easy enough, but they're going to need just a little heat to allow it to sit flush on the hood as the curve is just a tiny bit off. Shouldn't be too hard, but for the investment, I might have a sign/ vinyl guy do if for me. I'm also going to get my roof and mirror caps wrapped in a shade as close to chili red as possible.

It's funny, I did this all because I saw Oliver's (my R53s name) twin ONE BLOCK from my house over the weekend. The whole point of ownership is uniqueness; unless you have Chili Red, white roof and white bonnet stripes

if you don't mind me asking, how much were the stripes? Mine are starting to look not so hot anymore, and if it's cheap enough, I may pay to replace them!

Did you ever get your roof wrapped? I'd love to see pictures.

My bike pedal put a dent in my roof so I've been considering doing the roof and mirrors in red like you did. However I'm concerned that the red roof won't look right with a rack over the top of it.
