I have a 2006 S. ~50K miles, services up-to-date. Still love it.

This year is my first smog check.

I have a 2006 Alta CAI, a 2006 Alta 15% pulley and a 1-ball.

I know I have to put the stock air cleaner on.

What else, if anything, do I need to be prepared for?

Not sure where you are, but my '04 with 15% sailed through with no problems. With the stock airbox, you should cruise through visual.

 

Thanks Eric, I did put the stock intake back in place and it sailed through everything.

I think I'll leave it that way. Plenty of power. Smooth running. Quiet is nice.
