You've pulled up on the bar assembly on the front of the seat, and it doesn't adjust forward or backward?

Purchased from a dealer or private party?
If dealer, return and have them futz with it.

If not, time to look under at the release linkage to see if it's connected, jammed or other.

Are using the lever rod in front of the seat only??!! Try using the Seatback Release on the upper back of the seat, this not only moves the seatback forward to allow passenger access but also should allow the entire seat to move forward as well. Also on the '08 model that I have, I've had this happen before, there is a small tab in the rear part of the track that will not allow the seat to move back and forth if it is in a certain position, I do not remember though what exactly you do to this lever to make it release the seat movement...sorry.
I do know that the seat is very particular as to what is done first to get it to move with the seatback moving as well, but using the Seatback Release will usually fix my issues.

hello guys, i am french and i have a mcs of 2009. I have a problem with passenger seat. My seat doesn't slide when i want to go at the rear seat. i have to use the bar in front of the seat. The cable under the seat is broken.
On realoem, i don't find reference of the cable. Everybody can help me to find reference or tell me if i can repair the cable.
Thanks a lot
