On Friday I finally took delivery on my new Chili Red MCS. [Well, not quite new -- it was the dealer's demo with ~2000 miles on the clock, but it took only 6 weeks to get it].

So Saturday was a good day to see the fall foliage and to see how it ran on twisty roads. We took off on a random-walk trip that found us on fun roads between Harper's Ferry and Sharpsburg in western Maryland. I happend to grab this photo that shows the contrast between a Mini and the typical SAV (Suburban Attack Vehicle):

My sporty car experiences go back more than 40 years to cars like Morgans (drove one cross country), Super Sevens (raced one), Shelby GT350 and Sunbeam Tigers. The Mini is like a 3rd childhood!
