I bought my first mini back in August at MINI Downtown in Toronto, ON. I live in Moncton, NB. I bought this particular 2006 cooper soho edition because it only had 8300 Kms on it and I like the styling of the first generation better. I would never buy from this dealer again they weren't knowledgea at all. They lied about a number of things I.e car having been smoked in, repairs being needed to pass inspection, previous damage, and generally the condition of the vehicle I will be sending a formal complaint to mini canda soon. Anyways I will post of pictures of my car to show what I've done so far

-carbon fiber wrapped headlight surrounds
-carbon fiber wrapped boot handle
-jcw aero kit front grill
-custom hand stitched light grey alcantara suede shift/handbrake boots
-license plate relocater
-stubby antenna
-plasti dipped a few chrome pieces on the interior

Looks good! My 2006 SoHo was first sold in Ontario, although I bought it here in BC.

 

where did you get the carbon finer for the hatch and headlights and was it hard to install?

 

I got it from coopersport.com and no just requires some patience same as any other vinyls and I recommend you get a heat gun works much better than a hair dryer

I moved here after living in Calgary for 5 years... I never wanted to see another -40C Winter.

 

Ahh yes must be nice to have those mild winters now I hear Alberta winters are pretty rough!

 

Haven't updated on here in a while, was mainly using totalmini forum until it crashed... Did a few things today installed my new checkered door handles, rubbish bag, and new taillight tint (last time it didn't last too long) also worked on refinishing a set of rims I picked up locally on the cheap getting them ready for summer!

 

Test fitted the one rim I have done so far here's some pictures

Haven't updated this in ages, since the last time I updated the biggest thing I did was a magnaflow cat back exhaust. I will soon be getting a new set of rims and coilovers, I also am hoping to plasti dip the car in flat white budget permitting.
