R56 Leak at thermostat?
this is not so familiar on the boards here.
and there is not really a "window regulator" on these cars. What is happening with the windows?
The windows are all computer controlled for distance travel etc so depending on the exact problem there may be an easy fix or it may need a reprogram by someone with the proper tools to do it.
dealer said total cost for everything was $2300 bucks but I owe them only $100 bucks.
Beats me having to figure out how to fix it myself and the time.
the window stopped doing its little up/down when you open the door and if you had the window down, it would never go up all the way unless you did it in little bits at a time. Also the passenger side window started actually going down if you were trying to raise both windows at the same time. very weird the first time that happened.
i tried the window reset thing to no avail.

I just had a leak at the thermostat a week ago. the thing was, is that the dealer replaced the thermostat last month, so its their fault.. gotta watch the dealers on the work they do now too..
Don't say where you're from but check out soopercooperinfo.com and find an independent near you and get a second opinion. There is an aftermarket gasket for that thermostat that will not fail as readily as the oem part.
