What has been the number one complaint? The cupholder being to small.

I personaly won't be happy untill my favorite morning coffee mug fits into the car's cup holder.

hope you don't ingest that much caffeine on a daily basis. Maybe buying the MINI-specific mug that fits snuggly in the cupholders will help you cut down on the habit...???

I would assume that for MINI to accomodate mugs this large, they'd also need to add an on board restroom.

I think a coffee mug like qualifies for Port-A-Potty status

That's definitely a lot of caffeine. Since you own a MINI, you should know size does not matter! If you want a quality caffeine high, just get a triple shot of espresso and you're set for the day! I'm also pretty sure you don't need teh coffee to keep you warm as you already have heated seats.

With a coffee mug of that size in your MINI, you can pass everything but a gas station.......bathroom.

Shouldn't be any problem to find a cup holder for that mug., after you remove the front passenger seat to install it!!

I've changed a lot of my motoring habits to accomodate my MINI. Funny thing is I don't miss those habits....like drink refills...at all.

Wouldn't it just be easier to install a car-holder on the mug itself?

I'd think the side bolsters in the passenger seat would be sufficient, as the mug looks big enough to emulate a passenger. Just seat-belt in the mug in the seat, and you should be good to go!

The MINI is meant to be driven....not a place to have coffee, read the paper, window shopping, have a chat in the cell and shave...

I have the same problem - I can never find a cupholder big enough!

Only joking - I don't promote drinking and driving! I just thought this photo was funny!

Somewhere in Bavaria an engineer is looking at that picture and thinking "Why are we trying to sell cars to these savages? Next, all their girlfriends will want a car with a freakin flower pot on the dash."

Whoa, That mug kind of looks like the canisters that held the Undead (chuds) in Return of the Living Dead.

Hey, That thing got a HEMI?

Confirmed....

Friend of mine just bought a 2004 CRV... the cupholder is HUGE. Massive, enormous, rediculous. Honestly, if you're drinking something bigger than the MINI-Fini holder can fit, your drink is TOO DAMN BIG

dumb question, but can the MINI's cupholder at least hold a soda can without it getting in way of the stick?
