Tire Replacement Recommendation

I have a 2009 MCS convertible with 23k miles...tires are looking kind of worn and have had a vibration in front end recently. I would like to stick with run flats. I do not put tons of mileage on..a yearly trip to the Dragon! Would like recommendations....never drive in snow.

What tire size and what tire category?

If you want Ultra High Performance A/S RFTs in size 195/55/16, there seem to be two good ones in this test. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=164

Otherwise, look around at Tire Rack for what size and tire category you want. Unfortunately, they don't have a lot of comparison tests and user survey results for RFTs.

The OP has what looks to be the 17" Black Star Bullet wheels...now onto what type of tire? Spirited driving can be had on either Summer tires or All Season but the summer will be stickier, but not good for winter temps.

Thanks for the good info. My tires were in a lot worse condition than I thought...the belts had worn thru on the front driver side. Apparently an alignment issue and I did have an alignment done on it a while back! I ended up getting Perelli Euro run flats. Price wasn't bad but I was in dire need ):

I bought recently the Bridgestone Potenza's RE970 a/s and they're great! Big difference from run-flats for sure. Tires alone were $480, a great price.
