Hey guys, I am a long time reader and short time member. Bought my first Mini only months ago! And I feel so lucky to have such a great car. I managed to snag a 2006 MCS JCW that is just amazing. So the last few months have involved babying her so very much, treating every peice of vinyl, leather and rubber inside her to make sure everything is perfect. Now I am on to through some of my general maintenance ( changing oil to redline changing air filter to a high flow and moding the jcw airbox to open flap and transmission fluid to redline) I am now putting my own touches onto the engine . I have recently added fireborne plug wires, LGS brisk plugs, 17% pulley with new belt. craven speed crank pulley standard size, screamin demon coil pack, tsw upper mount, samco intake tube.

So I am off to quite a running start and am loving it! one of my next mods to do is the exhaust...Like many have found..the JCW exhaust is really lacking, it is just not there for me. I have seen many different exhausts in person from local mini owners and I have listen to pretty much every clip on youtube. I personally think the VIP custom exhaust sounds far better then any exhaust made for the r53.

Here comes the main point of my post!!! ( sorry for the long intro)


VIP custom parts will not make any more of the exhaust, EVEN SPECIAL ORDER until they get 25 inquiries about the exhaust ( at which point they will make 25 more sets)...I am kind of in the state of praying that this will happen by the time I am ready to get my exhaust...So I can purchase one of these amazing exhausts!

I agree, I just hope I can get one..been even looking for one that is used, but it seems everyone with them is satisfied so non are for sale. It has to be either this or Magnaflow..but I prefer VIP

 

Iwaslooking at the exhaust to And emailed them to see if I could get one made and they said not making anymore batches. But they are still making the one for the r50. Sucks they can't make any
