I just wanted to share this picture with you very quickly, and a bit of info.

Anyways, I wanted to share a picture with you guys of my JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) License Plate! These are just like the breast cancer, or any other speciality plate you can request at your DMV (at least in Colorado). Now, currently they have to sell 3500 of these plates in the next year and a half ( I think) in order for these to be officially submitted and then you can buy them at any time. If they don't sell the required amount, they will no longer be available - but those who already have them will get to keep them.

Proceeds ($50 extra on top of your vehicle registration) will get you a set of these plates, and that money goes directly to the foundation for research.

I'm posting this for 3 reasons
1) My son (currently 2 years old) was born with Type I Diabetes, and he's the most special, cutest, toughest little scamp I've ever met. Its crushing to wonder why he was given this lifetime condition, but its good to know there are foundations like JDRF to help him out with mommy and daddy can only do so much.
2)Great cause - as mentioned above
and 3) THEY LOOK AWESOME ON MY CAR! I have astro black, and I think it looks better than any other Colorado plate out there.
