What BBS's are these!?!

story starts out as some local guy saw the motegi wheels on my girlfriends honda del sol and wanted to trade. he said he'd trade his BBS's for our old motegis plus 50 bucks. WHAT A DEAL!!

so of course we went for it. problem is he didnt know what bbs these were and neither do i. ive been searching for weeks online and asking different friends but know one can come up with what these came off of or what model the wheel is. some previous owner spray painted them and its now chipping and its just ugly so were going to sand blast them and have them painted gold the right way.

heres the wheels:

anyone know what car these came off of? or what type of wheel they are, theyre deffinitly an older wheel. on the inside of the wheel where the lug holes are the specs say 15x7 +35 4x100. im guessing theyre a stock VW wheel considering the bolt pattern
I'd like to throw them on the mini but i hate not knowing what we have.

Thanks!!!!!!

oh believe me i was apprehensive too at first but these are the real deal. the guy actually is still hounding me about getting them back. the rims and center caps all have the BBS logo and Made in Germany on them. the center caps are multiple piece, top quality, with the locking mechanism. center cap logos are a little rough but also say bbs in small lettering on the back side and have the 3d look on them.

IF these are fake someone did a damn good job making them
hopefully someone will know

They look a lot like RX but, they are not. I would also be apprehensive because no one paints BBS wheels with wheel weights still attached on the outside. Take that picture and contact BBS directly and ask them they are just outside of Atlanta by the Road Atlanta racetrack.

i totally agree! i feel like slapping the person who spray painted these wheels and how bad of a job they did.

i saw those RG's in my search but the fork design on my wheels extend out towards the lip more. the RG's fork stop short of the outside lip and lip itself isnt the same, mine have a small hump on the edges like the old stock e30 bmw wheels kinda like these:
