Light came on and mechanic scanned and cleared it one time. It was a "drivers side airbag tolerance" fault. A few days later, the light is back. Mechanic says next step is to do a pin out test and use a resistor to determine if the issue is with the wiring / SRS module or with the airbag itself. He says it will take a couple of days to accomplish this test. I assume that is mostly time waiting for the light to come on, not actual wrenching time. Does this sound right?
